Are you Afraid of the Dark?: “The Tale of Cutter’s Treasure: Part 1” (S4E04)

Plot Summary

This ambitious two-part adventure begins with Rush, a teenage boy who feels overshadowed by his older brother and longs for something to make him feel special. His chance arrives when he stumbles upon an old chest that once belonged to the infamous pirate Jonas Cutter, a ruthless figure said to command dark forces from beyond the grave. Inside the chest, Rush finds a strange medallion that seems to hum with energy.

Soon after discovering the medallion, Rush begins seeing ghostly figures, shadowy movements and eerie lights that stalk him at night. Cutter’s spectral crew wants the medallion back, and their appearances grow more aggressive as they pursue him. Desperate, Rush seeks help from Captain Jonas Cutter’s legendary enemy, Sardo the Magic Shop owner, who claims to know the truth behind the pirate’s curse.

Rush’s journey becomes increasingly perilous as he is drawn into a centuries-old feud between good and evil, realising he is the key to ending Cutter’s reign of terror once and for all.
